Learn about your ideals and goals before finding alignment.
What does "a year of alignment" mean to me?
A goal properly set is halfway reached. – Zig Ziglar.
Every year, I pick a theme I will stick to. This year, the theme was alignment. Why is it important to me, and what does it mean?
Alignment in personal growth means making sure that your actions, goals, values, and beliefs all fit together. What we value and how we live our lives should match up. We should reach a point where our deeds match our inner values and goals.
Alignment can be found in several ways. Here is an example:
Choosing jobs and careers that align with our core values makes us happier, more motivated, and healthier.
Looking at my LinkedIn bio, you will see that I define myself as a writer, educator and builder of communities and businesses. I focused on those because they align with my values, and I know that because I already worked in a bank, it drained my life out!
We must get to know ourselves and ensure our actions align with our authentic selves and unique life purposes.
One important thing that I am working on is Mind Alignment :
Alignment of the mind begins when you start to hear what you are thinking to yourself and what you think about other people and situations and begin to become aware and question your reactions.
So, it would help if you learned about your ideals and goals before finding alignment.
Being in alignment means agreeing with our core values, intentions, and actions.
