On The Necessity of Pain
Heal so you can hear what’s being said without the filter of your wound.
Pain is a reality we must face. It is not something to be avoided or denied but should be embraced as a necessary part of the human experience.
Pain is the fire that tempers the steel of our character. Without it, we would be soft, pliable, and easily broken. But pain forges us, shapes us, and makes us strong.
When we suffer, we learn. We gain wisdom and perspective that cannot be attained any other way.
Heal so you can hear what’s being said without the filter of your wound.
Pain is the price we pay for living fully, for feeling deeply. It is the shadow that accompanies every high, the ebb that follows every flow. To reject pain is to reject life itself.
The truly strong do not run from pain but lean into it. They allow it to work its will, strip away the unnecessary, and reveal the core of who they are, for it is only through the furnace of adversity that the gold of the human spirit can be refined.
Meet pain with courage and with grace. That is how we forge into the people we were meant to be.
This is a beautiful piece but can I say that I learnt nothing substantial from pain?
