The Wisdomous : How to look for the unexpected and find serendipity.
Welcome to The Wisdomous - a friendly email sent to you every week to nourish your mental wealth. You will find micro-lessons from macro thinkers, a good story, awesome reads and some fun suggestions.
Hey Wisdomous friends,
24 weeks remain in the year; what do you have on your to-do list that you haven't completed?
Here are some thoughts I've been mulling over:
We all carry the scars from our childhood. The wounds we can't seem to let go of, the things we're terrified of and can't imagine letting go of.
Let us not demand restitution or make excuses for our messed-up youth. Life is not always fair. Instead, let us be kind to ourselves and learn to heal our inner child. How? You are welcome to ask.
In his book, Stillness is the Key, author Ryan Holiday proposes that you "GIVE MORE", a formula devised by actor Garry Shandling.
Let's give more of what we seek. Let us strive for greater heights.
The concept of giving and becoming is based on mindfulness and refusing to be held back by our past. As a way of healing from your childhood wounds, give more. You won't regret it, and you might even be able to help others who are on the same path as you.
"The less energy we waste regretting the past or worrying about the future, the more energy we will have for what’s in front of us." - Ryan Holiday.
Nuggets.
All of us do not have equal talent. But, all of us have an equal opportunity to develop our talents.
Thinking should become your capital asset, no matter whatever ups and downs you come across in your life.
Be more dedicated to making solid achievements than in the running after swift but synthetic happiness.

The Highest of Three Central Values in Life
According to Victor Frankl, there are three primary values in life: the "Experiential," or what occurs to us; the "Creative," or what we create; and the "Attitudinal," or how we respond in challenging situations.
Experiential: What happens to us
Creative: What we bring into existence
Attitudinal: Our response to difficult circumstances
Stephen Covey quotes Victor Frankl's perspective in his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
The greatest benefit here, according to Covey, is attitudinal because how we respond to situations and reinterpret them in a good way is critical.
Fun.
Music

Films
Resort to Love: Christina Milian's romcoms are all worth viewing. However, Apart from Christina's performance, there isn't much to it.
The last letter from your lover: A well-written plot with a mediocre portrayal. It's a wonderful melodrama with elegant sets, but the actors don't seem to have much chemistry. Nevertheless, it's still worth a look.
